One of the most amazing people I have been blessed to meet through Active Rain is Joey Aszterbaum. Joey is much more focused on helping others succeed than he is with his own success. I'm convinced that's why he is as successful as he is. if you haven't checked out his Real Agent Help website, do yourself a favor and check it out.
Each month, Joey organizes a breakfast meeting at Mimi's in Hemet. Last week, Heid Gray of Amerit Escrow was the breakfast sponsor. Donations went to the Arrid Club, a group dedicated to helping people with drug and alcohol dependencies. Her guests told us about the 1st Annual Celebrity Golf Fundraiser for the La Vista Recovery & Wholess Center For Women. Several celebrities including the famed Dodgers' shortstop and base stealer Maury Wills will be a part of the event.
Joey had asked John Occhi and me if we would cover the basics of blogging for the group. We decided John would focus on the business of blogging while I would cover the social aspects... go figure! The group seemed very interested in what we had to say and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. If you haven't already done so, spread the word about blogging. Isn't this just amazing?

It would be my honor to show you the incredible Temecula Valley, a place I’m very proud to call home.

Hi Tom: It is nice to meet Joey -- I am amazed how many people are not interested in blogging and simply don't see the benefits. Some in our profession certainly come to technology more slowly than others. They still don't have high speed internet in the Northern part of New Hampshire.
Joan - Joey is a prince! Most people get that glazed over look in their eyes when I mention blogging. i guess you get the benefits or you don't.
Tom
The benefits of blogging are exponential.
Sincerely
Tom Braatz
Tommy - I couldn't agree with you more.
Tommy,
My experiences dealing with Joey is that he knows his stuff and has that "can do" attitude and is willing to help others.....
Hi Tom, These breakfast meetings you guys have sound great and a good thing for bringing your community of professionals together. Can't agree more about Joey!
Hi Joey!
Tom, I love these breakfast meeting formats where it is an informal setting and everyone gets to share and learn from the speakers. The business and social aspects of blogging cannot be denied.
Julie - You are right on the money. It's not possible to praise Joey highly enough.
Elaine - I hope you can make it out for one. We're not that far away.
Gary - I really like them, too. The benefits of blogging are mind boggling.
Tom: Thank you thank you thank you. What makes the breakfasts so rewarding are people like you and John who make it a priority and are willing to share what they know. You guys did a great job!
Joey - Thank you for the platform! Your breakfasts are so worthwhile.
GREAT NEWS! We finally have a MIMI's in Cary - we're starting this in Sept! I'm calling you in the next few days to ask questions! Congratulations!
TOM - How did they ever think of using you for the social aspect? That is such unusual casting. Of course, you know I'm kidding. I can't imagine anyone better for the job.
Eleanor - That's wonderful. I look forward to your call!
Adam - It was a stretch. I don't know how Joey thought of me for the role. Thanks for the kind words, my friend.
Hmmm...you're giving us an idea for our little town of Redding, I like how you did this.
Great job!

Glad to meet Joey and heading over to his links. You really are a fantastic ambassador, Tom!
Chris & Maria - Redding, CA? I used to live in Red Bluff. Let me know if you do something!
Donna - Thanks so much!
