Whew, it's been a while. I had to dust off the spotlights!
Let me take you to The Wine Company and introduce you to Jim Lilly. Jim opened the first Wine Company store in 2004 in Temecula's Tower Plaza. This November, he moved into a brand new location in Margarita Crossings, a new center that also has an Olive Garden and several boutique stores.

Jim's interest in wine began in the 80's while he was in the restaurant business at Velvet Turtle. His passion drove him to become a self taught wine aficionado.
Jim opened The Wine Company because of his desire to bring top shelf wines to residents of the Temecula Valley without them having to drive an hour or more. He believes wine shouldn't be pretentious and his aim is to take the "stuffiness" out of wine.
Stop by and say hi to Jim, Pauline or Karen. Have a glass or two of wine, let them make you a gift basket or join one of their wine club. Jim has poured his passion into the store and it shows.

Linda - That's a great song. I was going to use Bottle of Red Wine by Derek & The Dominoes, but I couldn't find it.
Kathy - Give me a call and I'll meet you there!
Jennifer - I'll show you my wine haunts if you show me yours. ;-)
Julie - My pleasure. Next time you're in Southern California we'll pay them a visit.
Tom - Great spotlight! These are the kinds of posts I really enjoy because you are giving back to your community - Nice work!
Tom,
This looks like a great place to go for wine. That is a nice history of the wine company. Great music and good pick for the post! Not a bad rendition of it either.
Dave
This looks like a great place!!! Too bad it's in California.... where there is no snow... or ice.... sigh. I'm adding it to my places to visit lisit!
Dave - First glass is on me if you come visit. Thanks for the kind words.
John - I agree, and I intend to do more of it. There are so many wonderful places and people where I live. Thanks.
Martin - It is a great place. I can see snow from here, but I don't think any will be falling. ;-)
